While the crossbow and the m99 amr are best used for taking down powerful foes in a single headshot the m14 is more general purpose good at killing lesser beasties while still doing respectable damage to the bigger specimens.

In game m14 is actually equipped with the acog scope however it does not display on weapon s hud icon. Why would you use tranquilizer darts against zed even if there s a heavy scoped marksman pistol witg tranquilizer darts no way it would only. It s better to just take both though since you don t really need the xbow. Like a heavy scoped marksman pistol with tranquilizer dart alt fire that has separate ammo like m16 m203 and 2 weight to use with m14 crossbow.
