I m not it s just my computer either. I just press start 3 or 4 times. One would think that a game called killing floor would be all about the many options of a floor that is why the team behind the game as given us this precious time upon launch so that we can gaze in wonder the structure of our ceiling. It probably takes around 5 minutes to get the game launched. It d be an excusable behavior for a game that preloads all textures and ingame settings to be usable upon start when switching options but the game restarts every time you change options. First time i launch it either stops working or takes about 2 minutes to start up. No other game has this long of a load time when launching the game.

They are working on a solution. This have the unfortunate side effect that launching for the first time take a long time. Like i said earlier there is no official fix to fix the issue where the game takes a while to start. Yes first time launch takes really long.
