By wave 10 your loadout should contain at minimum the following.
Helios for damage and either upgraded s.
It will kill off most of the trash around you while restoring your hp.
The way i see it there are essentially three types of smgs in killing floor 2.
Killing floor 2 perk.
Killing zeds near a player.

Role close combat front line position defend squad mates role 3.
Xp objectives dealing berserker weapon damage.
Do you need to level up.
I am never been fun of ak i like scar more and rpg the ak felt weak.
Offperking weird like that is fine but generally isn t needed as long as the team performs its functions.
This loadout is created as a safety measure so that if my team dies i have the best chance of finishing the wave.
But rpg in a commando loadout.
If trash is bothering you and your teammates need healing throw a medic grenade at your feet and resume healing.
Don t feature the perk on the channel much so might as well show you in my opinion firebug s most optimal loadout.

The other loadout i use is when kitng as opposed to camping.
Use the flamethrower to hold a doorway lane for trash then when a large zed appears pull out the freezethrower and freeze everything.
Medic pistol if you re doing things right you don t need more than this and anything else you buy is just money wasted that could have gone to your teammates instead what exactly do you plan on doing with that 600 katana.
For some reason the upgraded kriss doesn t feel like it holds a candle to fully upgraded p90 and ump but it could just be me.
At the start of a game i see people who spawn join the game with better tier weapons.
